The set is designed to grow with your child, from around 18 months to 8+ years, with knives for different stages. Adult supervision is essential, especially for the youngest children.
- 18 months to 2 years: start with the wooden knife for soft foods such as bananas, strawberries and cooked vegetables.
- 2 to 3 years: introduce the smaller nylon knives, with guidance.
- 3 to 5 years: move to the larger serrated nylon knives.
- 5 to 8 years: the full set becomes their toolkit.
